Curve Rush

About Curve Rush

Curve Rush is an arcade single-player game made by Azgames.io. The game was released in February 2025. You take control of a ball that rolls through endless dunes. The difference is that flying high is hard, but a smooth landing is what ultimately leads to survival.

How to Play Curve Rush

The core mechanics revolve around two actions: accelerating and releasing at the right time. Holding the spacebar or tapping the screen increases the ball's speed and momentum. Releasing it on an uphill slope sends the ball soaring into the air. Each time you cross the white line at the top of the screen, you gain +1 point. But the higher you go, the harsher the landing becomes. Just one hard crash or landing too quickly at the top of the slope will end the level immediately.

An interesting point that many new players often overlook: the game doesn't reward pure speed. Smooth landings back-to-back make a combo and get points. Thus, a skilled player is someone who knows how to manage momentum, not simply charge ahead. You will find scattered clusters of coins along the route. Prioritize picking up clusters that align with your flight path, rather than trying to change direction abruptly to collect individual coins. These coins unlock 30 skins and 8 different environmental themes, from deserts to exotic lands with tilted or 180-degree flip views.

Besides the endless mode, Curve Rush also features four cups with a total of 140 levels. Each level requires completing a specific mission before reaching the finish line. The terrain and viewpoints change constantly; sometimes you have to control the ball at the bottom of a slope or face a completely unfamiliar gameplay style. This is what keeps the game fresh even after hours of play.

Game Controls

The game supports three main control methods, depending on your device:

  • Spacebar on PC: hold to accelerate, release to jump.
  • Mouse click: works similarly to the spacebar.
  • Touch screen on mobile: hold and release to control the ball.

The trick is you don't need a lot of buttons. The entire experience is contained in one hold-and-release action. That’s when the observation of the terrain and timing become key. If you notice the ball starting to fall too fast, let go earlier on the next slope to slow the speed of landing. Never change direction abruptly, as the game has no braking or turning mechanics.

With its straightforward yet challenging design, Curve Rush is an excellent option for those seeking a brief, easy-to-play arcade game that proves difficult to master.
