Airborne BMX
About Airborne BMX
Airborne BMX is a side-scrolling arcade BMX game where you don't race against opponents, but rather grapple with the speed, landing angle, and increasing difficulty of each track. The interesting thing is that the game rewards control rather than recklessness, so a clean landing is sometimes more valuable than a long combo.
How to play Airborne BMX
Each track begins with maintaining momentum. Press Space to pump before entering the ramp, as speed determines whether you have enough time in the air to perform tricks. When the wheels leave the ground, use the arrow keys to spin, and W, A, S, D to perform maneuvers like Table, Barspin, Turndown, or Tailwhip. Hold Shift with the trick key to unlock more difficult variations, and Ctrl for the highest level.
What many beginners overlook is not trying to cram tricks into every jump. If the landing angle is off, the rider will fall and lose all momentum, forcing you to rerun the track. Learn to read the elevation and distance of each ramp first, then add your tricks later. A short but safe landing combo maintains your pace and helps you accumulate points more consistently over multiple attempts.
The game features 6 worlds from Foothills to The Park, over 40 tricks and grinds, 15 riders and 15 bikes to unlock, plus a bike designer to change the appearance. The Trick Challenges and Platinum Medal system make replaying a level purposeful, rather than just trying to finish.
